TirupatiDriver.in ("we", "us") arranges drivers who drive customers' own cars in and around Tirupati. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website (tirupatidriver.in), the customer booking app (tirupatidriver.in/book) and the driver app (tirupatidriver.in/driver), why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).
1. Information we collect

2. Why we use it
- To receive your booking, assign a suitable driver and contact you about the trip.
- To show customers their driver's name, photo and phone number for an assigned trip, and to show drivers the customer's name, phone number and pickup address for trips assigned to them.
- To verify drivers' identity and driving licence before they can receive trips (safety of customers).
- To answer support requests, prevent misuse or fraud, and meet legal requirements.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
3. Who can see it
- The owner of TirupatiDriver.in, through a password-protected dashboard.
- The assigned driver sees only the trip details needed to do that trip.
- The customer sees only their assigned driver's name, photo and phone number (the phone number is hidden after the trip is completed).
- Service providers that host our website and store data securely on our behalf (Vercel, a cloud hosting company). They may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Authorities, only when required by law.
Driver ID documents (licence, Aadhaar, PAN) are stored privately and are visible only to the owner, for verification.
4. How long we keep it
- Bookings and trip history: up to 3 years, for records, support and disputes, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Driver documents: while the driver works with us, and deleted within 90 days after the account is closed or rejected.
- Reviews: until removed by you or by us.
5. How we protect it
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in private storage that is not publicly accessible. Passwords are hashed, the owner dashboard is password-protected with limits on wrong attempts, and access is limited to what each person needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the service. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
Our services are meant for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Contact & grievance officer
For any privacy question, request or complaint, contact the owner of TirupatiDriver.in (Grievance Officer) using the 🎧 support button in our apps, or call / WhatsApp +91 93636 28601. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The "effective" date above shows the latest version. Important changes will be shown in our apps.
